Perimenopause and Herbs

Herbal medicine is such a beautiful ally during perimenopause. In fact, along with nutrition and lifestyle, it’s usually where I start when helping patients manage their perimenopausal symptoms.

Chastetree, black cohosh, Dong Quai, wild yam and St. John’s Wort, to name a few, are examples of herbs that have been shown to help with symptoms of perimenopause including hot flashes, mood changes, sleep, and cycle changes.
